Welcome to Sequoia Woodturners!
Sequoia Woodturners is a woodturning club based in the Central San Joaquin Valley. Sequoia Woodturners is a member of the American Association of Woodturners and has been serving the Central San Joaquin Valley woodturning community since 1997. The club meets on a bi-monthly basis discuss up coming events, new tools, and to help improve our members turning skills. Our meetings allow our members to share the wonderful work they create and promote the free exchange of ideas and designs. During meetings, one of our members provides the club with a great demonstration. These demonstrations help teach our novice turners new tricks and techniques. Member's Profile Returns
Our webmaster (Eric) has been working hard to bring back the member's profile section. We lost a great service when Stan decided to step-down as our assistant editor. Stan created some great member profiles and we want to thank him for all his great work. Since then, the club has asked to have the member profile service reinstated as it allows our members to get to know one another better. In response to the request Eric has created a new format for the member profile area. The new format will not require the large amount of time the previous format did. We have moved toward a simple Q&A style profile. Members will be able to fill out a simple questionnaire and each month Eric will choose a different member to profile under the Featured Member section-->.
Eric needs your help to get the questionnaires completed so he can reinstate the Member Profile section. The questionnaire is available in PDF format under the Members Area.* Eric will also bring copies of the questionnaire to each meeting to be filled out in person and a picture will be taken at that time.
